Historic Property Lead Pipe Replacement

The Challenge
A Victorian property still had original lead water supply pipes. With a young family moving in, the owners wanted all lead removed and modern pipework installed throughout.
The Solution
We surveyed the entire property to identify all lead pipework, then systematically replaced with copper and modern plastic alternatives. The water board replaced the supply pipe to the boundary.
The Outcome
Result
Complete lead removal, water testing certified, mortgage requirements met
All lead pipework removed, giving the family peace of mind about their water quality. We coordinated with the water company and local authority, and provided certification for the mortgage lender.
